Bessemer Fire Department Teaches Safety at Elementary School

Bessemer Fire Department Teaches Safety at Elementary School
J.S. Abrams Elementary School extended a special thank you to the Bessemer Fire Department for visiting the campus on Oct. 6 to educate students about fire safety. The visit, which is a common educational partnership, provided students with critical knowledge about emergency preparedness. Firefighters took time to explain essential safety measures, ensuring the younger students understand the steps to take to keep themselves safe during a fire or other home emergency.
The school community emphasized its appreciation for the Fire Department’s dedication to community well-being. By visiting the classrooms, the department is actively empowering students with the knowledge they need to remain safe.
